Refund policy
To start a return, you can contact us at amnet@amnet-usa.com.
If you are unable to receive a JR Pass, you can return your voucher to Amnet issuing office for a refund.
A refund is payable within 6 months from the date on which the voucher is issued.
The JR pass amount will be refunded to the original form of payment with a penalty of 15 percent of the JR pass amount deducted.
The shipping fee is not refundable.
No refund is possible for a pass for which the validation date has expired.
No refund is possible for a lost or stolen pass.
In the event that you are unable to receive a JR Pass because you fail to meet the eligibility requirements, Amnet is not liable for any charges or fees associated with your use of JR lines while in Japan.
We will notify you once we’ve received your return and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. However, please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
